![]() ![]() To be clear I’m not trying to hate on the game I’m just trying to give some advice I’m not a game dev so I’m sorry if I’m asking for to much I really do like the game and I really hope you understand that and I’m really sorry if I offended your hard work keep up the good work. I do however like the mechanics and graphics and how you have to actually drink the water and actually eat the food not just it disappearing I do think that when your hooking things that you can hook a little more than one thing at a time and also be able to stop hooking at anytime but other than my complaints that I hope you’ll take into consideration this game is amazing for what it’s supposed to be. I really want islands and trees and bears and wolves and so on because after a while with no exploration to do and pretty scenery it gets boring also when you die you shouldn’t have to restart from the beginning but spawn back on your raft with your inventory wiped clean. Also I still have yet to kill the shark but I think you should make it to where you can hold a spear in water. Another thing is I don’t know if there’s more to the story or if your character is just stuck forever never to leave the raft and there’s no exploration. Also the game doesn’t have a lot of difficulty and no islands. ![]() I think this is already amazing but I think you should be able to do a lot more and craft more stuff. PRETTY GREAT! But there’s still things to be fixed. Perhaps there can be a feature where you can customize your avatar or explore the ocean below or even have islands and a map to save your progress.Īnyways those are my thoughts. The crash was the most interesting bit for me as far as my character was concerned. I wish there was more to the story since the beginning started of with a plane crash. After you’ve gotten the hang of everything, it just boils down to eating and drinking for this game. Another thing I would like to point out is how there’s not enough stuff to build on the game. There should also be more creatures coming after the player to call this a “survival” game. Another thing I noticed is how it takes way too long to kill the shark. Yo add to that, I don’t like how the posts in the house are the only way to ad support to a ceiling not connected to a wall. That’s terrible and it bothers me since it’s a small detail. When it rains, the inside of my little house on the raft is pouring like it would be outside. I love the concept and the little details but I would like to point out some elements of the game that I noticed. Build a real shelter that will allow you to last as long as possible! Use the hook to catch the necessary resources: debris, algae, boxes and others. Otherwise your adventure on the raft will quickly end!Ĭatch fish, grow vegetables and get water - do everything to survive! Create building materials, clothes, weapons, chests and other things necessary for survival. Watch for indicators of health, hunger and thirst. Make sure that the shark attack does not destroy your plans for survival! Do not forget that thirst and hunger are not the only danger. The main goal of the game is to hold out as long as possible alive, and for this you need to make crafting and building - gather resources, improve the raft and build a shelter right on the raft. Survival simulator on the raft will throw you into an epic adventure in the middle of the ocean! Mankind and civilization far, beyond the boundless horizon. ![]() You have only one thing - craft for survive. An almost hopeless situation and a huge opportunity to die throw adrenaline into your blood. Around the ocean, hot sun and hungry shark. You a survivor and now you are out of civilization. «Hey, survivor! Watch out, shark is here!»Ī terrible plane crash took the lives of all the passengers and crew. ![]() ![]() reported that patients with higher serum IgA/C3 ratios were more likely to be diagnosed with IgAN. Some researchers have reported that IgAN patients usually have higher serum IgA and GdIgA1 levels, alongside normal-to-low serum C3 levels, compared to those of patients with other types of primary glomerulonephritis. However, the correlation between the changes in serum complement levels and diagnosis remains unclear. Previous studies have shown that IgA deposition in the mesangial area is necessary for IgAN progression and accompanying C3 deposition. Although renal biopsy remains the gold standard for IgAN diagnosis, recent efforts have sought to find new biomarkers that can predict IgAN without the need for biopsy. put forward a four-hit hypothesis, in which the galactose-deficient IgA1 (GdIgA1) molecule plays a key pathogenic role. According to recent studies, IgAN is thought to be autoimmune in nature. However, the pathogenesis of IgAN remains unclear. Until present, the diagnosis of IgAN relies on revealing IgA as the dominant or codominant immunoglobulin in the glomerular mesangium by kidney biopsy. IgAN was previously considered to be a benign condition, but recent studies have demonstrated that up to 25–40% of patients progress to uremia within 10–20 years after the diagnostic biopsy. The stereotypical IgAN patient is a young adult with asymptomatic microscopic hematuria or episodic macroscopic hematuria occurring during an upper respiratory tract infection. The clinical presentation of IgAN is highly variable between individuals, and ranges from a subclinical disease with isolated microscopic hematuria to severe end-stage renal disease (ESRD). ![]() IgAN is diagnosed by renal biopsy with immunofluorescence staining or immunohistochemistry, and is histologically characterized by the presence of polymeric IgA deposits in glomerular mesangial areas. An epidemiological survey showed that approximately 45% of the cases of primary glomerulonephritis in China were IgAN. IgAN accounts for more than 20% of glomerular diseases. Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN), which was initially described by Berger and Hinglais in 1968, is the most common type of primary glomerulonephritis worldwide, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. In order to study the effectiveness of this biomarker, and to determine a standardized cut-off value, additional multicenter large-scale studies are needed. ![]() The present study provides clear evidence that the IgA/C3 ratio is an effective predictor of IgA diagnosis, especially in patients with proteinuria ≤1 g/d. IgAN was independently correlated with IgA/C3 ratio in the full cohort by multivariate logistic regression analysis. ![]() Meanwhile, the diagnostic accordance rate for the diagnosis of IgAN among all patients with an IgA/C3 ratio > 3.5304 was as high as 92.02% in the full cohort. The highest AUROC of the IgA/C3 ratio was in the ≤1 g/d proteinuria group (0.801 in the full cohort, and 0.803 in the PSM cohort) however, there was no difference between all CKD groups. The area under the ROC curve (AUROC) of the IgA/C3 ratio in distinguishing IgAN among primary glomerular disease was 0.767 in the full cohort, and 0.734 in the PSM cohort. In the PSM cohort, there was no difference in IgA/C3 ratio in patients with IgAN between different proteinuria groups and different chronic kidney disease (CKD) groups. The same results were also obtained with stratification by different levels of proteinuria and renal function. We found that in both the full cohort and PSM cohort, the IgA/C3 ratio in the IgAN group was significantly higher than that of the non-IgAN group. IgAN cases were propensity score matched (PSM) to non-IgAN cases on the logit of the propensity score using nearest neighbor matching in a 1:1 fashion, with a caliper of 0.02 with no replacements, according to age, gender, BMI, proteinuria level, and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). Patient demographics, serum immunological indices, and other clinical examinations were measured. We recruited 1095 biopsy-diagnosed primary glomerular nephropathy patients, including 757 IgAN patients and 338 non-IgAN patients. ![]() This study sought to explore the diagnostic value of the IgA/C3 ratio in IgAN among primary glomerular nephropathy patients in China. The Baldur’s Gate series is full of epic quests to take on, and complex characters to meet. More accurate spell progression, and even a brand new encounter also form part of this mod, which has clearly been created by people who feel that their favorite classes were grossly underlooked in this’s expansion. For one thing, the mod restores proper dual-wielding to these classes, and pushes their kits to the higher stat levels found in the pen and paper game. While you can decide which parts of the mod you want to have active, we’d recommend enabling as much as you can. ![]() What the mod does is strive to bring Bards and Thieves closer to their pen and paper counterparts found in Dungeons and Dragons. This mod is specifically for Baldur’s Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal, an expansion pack for Baldur’s Gate 2 that’s packed in with BG2 EE. Where Sword Coast Stratagems is an across the board boost to enemies, this collection packs in smaller mods that focuses on individual encounters that fans will wish were a bit of a tougher fight in the moment. It’s a collection that makes enemies harder to fight in a number of ways, and you can pick and choose just how hard they’re going to be. This mod is another gameplay enhancer that will make BG2 EE a more challenging experience. Overall you should feel like you’re fighting a smarter enemy, one that’s closer to a real-life foe than you’d ever find in the base game. It doesn’t necessarily make enemies harder with increased health and damage, but it does enhance their AI. The mod makes combat far more challenging, and is designed for those looking for something of a hardcore experience from their next campaign. This mod is a beast that combines over 100 interconnected mini-mods to bolster gameplay in BG2 EE. For example, there’s a Russian translation, expanded armor list, increased movement speed outside of combat, brand new items, and overall updates to every character in the game. Others are major requests from fans that never made it into BG2 EE. ![]() Some of these spruce up the game’s engine to run as it was intended, which the game doesn’t as standard in some ways. Tweaks AnthologyĪ number of fixes and improvements are present in Tweaks Anthology. Luckily, there are some mods that can bring it up to the modern era (or as close as possible) in a few subtle ways, making it feel like you’re playing a game that’s half its age. Unfortunately, Baldur’s Gate 2 Enhanced Edition was released way before all of these, and still uses features that were standard in its time. Over the years there have been significant leaps and bounds in the realm of game design with ARPGs. The only thing it can’t do is make it feel like you’re playing on an old CRT monitor again. It was built with windscreen monitors in mind, so it should make the game fill your screen, whatever you’re using. It allows you you to play the game, and a number of others, at previously unsupported resolutions. It adds a collection of new portraits to the game that are lore friendly, meaning they fit in with those found in the game natively, and won’t stick out like a sore thumb like the obviously modded-in ones do. This mod is an addition - or alternative - to BG2 EE Portraits. They add a bit more detail to the standard portraits, and considering you’ll be staring at them for most of the game, they’re sorely needed. Some of them are NSFW, but you can pick and choose which ones you want, so there’s no need to have them all by default. This mod adds loads of new portraits to use in the game. Despite being a remastered version of the original, it still needs a bit of help to bring it up to standard. This first set of Baldur’s Gate 2 Enhanced Edition mods are all about making the game look great on modern machines. Hopefully, combined this will all be enough to keep you happy until the third mainline release. But we know that’s not enough, so here’s another list, this time of Baldur’s Gate 2 Enhanced Edition mods, which will make your next campaign a little different and far deeper. To help tide you over until the game is released, at least in early access, we’ve already provided you with a list of great mods for Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition. Baldur’s Gate 3 is well on its way to early access, making it hard for any fan of the series to think about anything else. ![]() ![]() ![]() Let it all be proven on Esports every year a big event that puts pc, Xbox and Sony against each other properly on games. Once deployed, I took off running with my men in grey towards the first objective. The briefing is a great addition because it gives players a better idea of how they’ll go about assaulting each strongpoint, what approach they’ll take, etc. We were to clear these areas of enemy personnel. For example, I was ordered to take the church within the town, the two housing blocks behind that, and then finally the town hall. ![]() Here the objectives are discussed in the order of which they will be assigned. The briefing discusses the events leading up to the battle, followed by a map of the mission. Before I got my baptism-of-fire, I was briefed on the tactical situation around the village. My first action was in a small village outside Stalingrad called Spartanovka. Players also have the capability to “cook” grenades–though not a new feature to FPS-if they don’t want to give the enemy the chance to run away from their thrown explosive. After hurling a couple “potato mashers” I became familiar with the different methods of throwing grenades, which can be done either underhand (short distances) or overhand (long distances). The ability to take cover is also implemented here, similar in technique to Brothers in Arms or Rainbow Six Vegas, adding an intuitive tactical facet to the game. I noticed immediately that the weapons were very detailed and pains were taken to make them historically accurate. Key new features come to light during this part, like the adjustable iron sights and blind-firing over walls, as well as less-visible features like realistic ballistic projectories. I also became familiar with all the useable weapons (the German versions) from the handgun, bolt-action rifle, submachine gun, portable light-machinegun (on bipod), and stationary light-machinegun (mounted on a tripod). But it’s discouraging when faced with the necessity of trying to remember how to perform all these movements during gameplay I often had to refer to the key assignments listed in the game’s “Options” menu for reference. I had to go through an obstacle course–which is always entertaining and immersive–in order to learn how to perform these actions, which was akin to the first couple Call of Duty(s). Here I learned nearly all the concepts of controlling the infantry soldier: jumping, crouching, running, sprinting, leaning, running while crouched (yeah, that’s right), diving, getting in the prone position, and vaulting over short walls or through window sills. The first mission of the Axis Campaign is a training mission, or tutorial. There are two campaigns available: the Axis Campaign, which is the only campaign available at first, and the Allies Campaign, which is unlocked after the Axis Campaign is finished and is naturally enough (for a game situated on the Eastern Front) a Soviet campaign. I answered the call to arms by jumping into the single-player campaign (I figured I would first learn the game here before getting into online play) which is extensive, offering about 30 missions. So will this sequel achieve just as high marks as the original, and will it offer gamers the same longevity? It’s well known that Heroes of Stalingrad has included a single-player campaign which was absent in the first one (though didn’t hurt its reviews). But just recently Tripwire Interactive released a sequel to Ostrfront 41-45 called Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 brought forth this opportunity in 2006, allowing large multiplayer clashes that simulated many different battles of the Eastern Front. There’s only a limited number of FPS games that have delivered the conflict between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union to PC gamers, and even fewer that have given players the opportunity to experience the battle from both sides. The Eastern Front during World War II was a struggle of idealism, sweat, blood, and exhaustion. Passed Inspection: Immersive single player campaign, several informed tutorials, squad/tank command, large and detailed maps, historically accurate weapons and tanks, minimal HUD for realism, online battles with up to 64 players, an unlocking system for multiplayer, many options available for online hosts/servers.įailed Basic: Often clumsy gameplay, annoying and unintelligent AI, graphics are lesser than the competition, redundant single player objectives. Richards was originally named as a defendant in one of those complaints, but was dismissed from the suit before it settled. The lawsuits, two of which were settled out of court, focused on the mistreatment of female employees by Price’s male leadership, including Richards. In recent weeks, questions about Richards have only intensified, with multiple lawsuits dating to his time as EP of The Price Is Right gaining attention after an early-August report that Richards was in advanced negotiations to secure the Jeopardy! host job. Says a former Deal employee who was at the show during Richards’s tenure: “When I worked there, it just seemed to be something everyone knew.” Interviews with sources from Sony, Jeopardy!, and previous shows Richards has worked on, including The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal, paint a picture of a showrunner who could be exclusionary and dismissive of longtime show employees-as well as someone who wasn’t shy about wanting to move in front of the camera. Given that he also was a candidate to host The Price Is Right, it looks like Richards just wanted to host a game show, any game show.”Ĭoncerns about Richards extend to the Jeopardy! staff, with a source close to the show telling The Ringer that employees were blindsided by Sony’s announcement and multiple sources describing how staff morale has deteriorated under Richards’s watch as EP. “Rodgers and Burton were clear about how important Jeopardy! was to them personally. “It’s unfortunate that guest hosts like Aaron Rodgers and LeVar Burton really put themselves out there in terms of openly wanting the job and for Rodgers in particular, discussing the extraordinary amount of effort to which he went to prepare for his turn, when it’s not clear anyone besides Richards ever had a real chance at the main role,” says Kristin Sausville, who won five games on Jeopardy! in 2015. (Last week, The New York Times reported that Richards “ moved aside after he emerged as a candidate.”) And while some disappointment was probably inevitable at the end of a guest host rotation that featured names ranging from LeVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers to Robin Roberts and Savannah Guthrie, the decision to promote Richards-an internal candidate who was relatively unknown to the general public-has sparked more backlash than the show might have anticipated. Richards’s selection has been met with criticism by Jeopardy! fans and former contestants alike, many of whom have questioned the validity of a prolonged and high-profile audition process that ended with the ascension of someone once tasked with leading it. He alone will fill the role long held by Alex Trebek. Actress Mayim Bialik will host prime-time tournaments, but the nightly job belongs to Richards.
